Has anyone ever ordered the personalized M&M's from the M&M website? I want to order the 7 oz. bags, but I'm not sure how many M&M's it takes to make 7 oz. I plan on using them as favors wrapped in circles of tulle at my wedding, and I was going to put about 10-12 M&M's in each little tulle bag. The minimum order is (4) 7oz. bags, but I'm not sure if I should order more than that or not. I expect to have about 150-200 guests. If anyone has bought these before and has an idea of what to expect, I would really appreciate your advice. Thanks!!

We did M&Ms in an organza bag. I tried doing them with the tulle circles, but it was a real pain in the backside to keep the M&Ms in the tulle whie you tried to tie the sides up into a neat looking package. I ended up doing tiny organza bags I purchased from eBay and they were SO much easier! I used a small measuring scoop (I think 1/8 cup) and just scooped and dumped them in, then tied off the bags.
To cut down on the expense, order a few bags of personalized M&Ms, then mix them with matching colors of non-personalized M&Ms. Or do all one color personalized and a second color non personalized. Try these sites for the colorworks M&Ms
