You may think that throwing a bridal shower is a lot of work and you would be right but it also can be a lot of fun. I have some really nifty tips that will turn your shower into a great success. You will need to gather a list of everyone who will be attending. You then need to get phone numbers and addresses.
Make sure you mail out the invitations at least two weeks in advance. If you wait to long to mail them out the guest could have other plans for that day. Now throwing a bridal shower on a budget is not as hard as you might think. When it comes to the invitations instead of buying them you can go online and print out your own invitations.
There are some very pretty invitations that are free. You could add some decorations to them if you wanted to add your own touch. Some ribbon and a hole punch can go a long way. You simply punch out a couple of holes and tie a bow with the ribbon through the holes.
You can save more money if you make the cake instead of buying it. You can buy a heart cake pan and bake your very own heart shaped cake. A bridal shower is about the bride being in love so why not have a heart shaped cake at the bridal shower?
You will have more clean up once it is over but you have saved money. You can also save buy not renting chairs for the shower party but buy using your own kitchen bar stools.
If you don't quite have enough stools you may want to ask a few of the guest if they could bring some of their modern bar stools for the shower.Most guest will want to help if they can. Balloons are another great way to save money. You may not know this but you can actually buy a bag of balloons for about a dollar and have them blown up at the store for half the price that you would pay if you bought the balloons from the store.
You may not even know this but you can buy your own bag of balloons and the store will fill them with helium for about half the price of the balloons you buy from them.You do not have to spend a lot of money to throw a great bridal shower. Witch one should i do?
I find out my babies sex next Monday. Well i wanted to keep it a secret till the baby shower. BUT i found out that that was the day my parents went on their first date. So i wanted to give them another memory for that day. Well my appointment is at 8:50 in the morning, and i think my dad will have to go to work at 11 that day. my mom doesn't work for heath reasons. Well i though of a few ways to surprise them with the gender.
1) I would get a balloon saying "It's a Girl" or "It's a Boy" and tie it to their car doors. Along with a few smaller balloons to go with them.
2) Bake a small cake big enough for 1 or 2 pieces for each of them. Then the bread part with be pink or blue. The icing will say something like "Happy 1st Date Anniversary Its a ..." and when they cut in to it they will see pink or blue.
