2nd wedding aniversary but no money.....any sugestions?
My 2nd wedding anniversary is coming up on January 19th. My husband and I with our son just moved completely across the country in December so there is no money for the occasion.
I know that my husband will probably plan something small for us to do at home so I am looking for ideas about gifts or gestures etc.... to let him know how much i love him and how happy I am to be his wife.
Our relationship is very romantic all the time with flowers just because it is wednesday, or random breakfasts in bed, cards to each other just because, those types of things. Because we are like this on a regular basis, small costless gestures are the norm for us and I am stumped for ideas.
Any suggestions no matter how far out of the box would be appreciated......this day means a lot to the both of us and I want to show him how much I love and appreciate him.

Get a baby sitter, and make a scavenger type hunt for him. leave cards around the house that he has to find and inside the card is a peice of your life together. for example, first date at the beach? leave a sea shell in the card, and the hint where to find the next one. so when he gets to the last one its you! suprise! I think thats a cute idea. Or you can have a picnic in your backyard, rent your favorite dvd to watch, or you could recreate your first date for cheap. what was your first date together? was it the movies? get a bucket for popcorn, and put in the movie it was that you two saw! how cute and reminiscent. Good Luck! it sounds like fun! or even recreate the date when you two got engaged! Like play the same music that was playing, or the same meal, same wine or something like that!
