The Perfect Party Supplies You Need For That Upcoming Event
No matter what type of event you are having there are certain party supplies to must have for the event to be successful.
The first thing you need to have in hand is a party planner that contains a list of items you need, a schedule, a to-do list, and a helpers list. This is what helps to keep you organized when that one thing goes wrong, or you're running behind and start to rush. If done correctly and everyone does as agreed you should be able to avoid things going wrong or being behind.
You need a party survival kit that has extra tape, scissors, glue, tacks, safety pins, needle and thread, batteries, candles, lights, screwdriver, hammer, paper, ribbon, and a pre paid cell phone. These items will have you ready for the party decorations that keeps falling, the button that popped off, the lose table leg or chair, when your table has to be two far away from a plug so you just have to run it off of batteries, when the favors or some other items still looks like it needs a little something once you put it out on the table, and the cell phone that allows people to still reach you even if your battery goes dead or you lost yours and have no idea where you put it.
Face it everyone will not RSVP and someone will bring an unexpected guest or two, so always have more party supplies than you think you will actually need. If you are using warmers have an extra pack of fuel. Keep a portable electric pot in case you have to warm up something faster then the warmers can. Buy three times as many cups then your guest count, because guests tend to drink out of several cups during the event. A lot of times they sit their cup down and don't want to go back and use it or get their cups mixed up with someone else's. Always have twice the number of plates as you have invited guests and several to-go containers with lids are also a good idea.
Always plan on more of everything, a dozen more party favors than guests and more seating too. It never fails; some of your guest will bring someone with them that is not on your list. When you are planning your food remember to cook for 25 to 50 more people then you invited. This will cover the person that eats more then their fair share, seconds, and the unexpected guest.
With anything concerning your event remember you would rather have too much party supplies then not enough.
